The Datsun 120Y was launched in Australia in May 1973. Part of the 210 series, the Datsun 120Y was one of the more popular Datsuns sold in Australia. It was known at the time for being reliable, fuel efficient and great value for money as it was relatively cheap and was packed with features such as disc brakes, radio, mudflaps, alternator, 4 speed manual gearbox and a 1.2L engine. Its styling was a little controversial when it was released but has become one of the more easily identifiable Datsuns today.
The 120Y was just under 4m in length and sold for a little over $3 500 when brand new in 1973.
